HYBE CEO Talks BTS’s Full Comeback Plans as Military Service Wraps Up.

During HYBE’s regular shareholders' meeting held in Mapo-gu, Seoul, on the 31st, CEO Lee Jae-sang addressed key topics, including the ongoing ADOR-related issues and the highly anticipated return of BTS as a full group.

Regarding the situation with ADOR, CEO Lee reiterated the company’s commitment to handling matters systematically. he stated; 

I indicated at last year's shareholders' meeting that it would take time, but we would respond one by one based on principles.

He also noted;

I believe the results are starting to come in one by one now.

Turning to BTS, CEO Lee emphasized that all members are on track to complete their mandatory military service by the end of June, He elaborated on the preparations required for their post-service activities, saying;

The members of BTS are scheduled to complete their military service by the end of the first half of this year and return, and preparation and working time will be needed for activities after their return."

HYBE is already laying the groundwork for the group's future projects, collaborating with leading composers. However, CEO Lee highlighted that the artists' involvement in shaping their next phase is crucial: 

The company is also preparing while discussing with top-tier composers, but the artists' reflection and preparation are necessary.

He further outlined the typical process for major artists, stating;

Typically, the process involves creating songs, releasing albums, and then going on tour, Since the BTS members have already ascended to global top artist status, discussions about vision and the next steps are ongoing, and it is also essential to contemplate the direction for this.

As of now, BTS members Jin and J-Hope have already completed their service and resumed activities. The remaining members RM, V, Jimin, and Jungkook are expected to be discharged in June, along with Suga. With their full return on the horizon, excitement continues to build for what’s next for the global superstars.
